How can I purchase tickets to Wicked New England?

If online tickets are sold out, can I buy them at the door?
You MIGHT be able to purchase tickets at the door if there is space in the venue. Speak to a staff member at the entrance.
Do I need to arrive at the exact time assigned to my ticket?
Timed tickets are to help spread crowds throughout the day. Old Town Hall has limited capacity, so you may need to wait in a line before entering if the building has reached capacity. Please do your best to arrive during the hour you've selected.

Is there a time limit I can stay at the event?
No, there is no time limit once you're inside.

Can I leave the event and return later?
All guests will receive a wristband giving them in and out privileges. But you may need to wait to reenter or may be turned away when trying to reenter if the building is at capacity.

Do I need to run at this year's "Monster Marathon" theme?
No. The Monster Marathon theme ties into the event taking place the day before The Boston Marathon. This event is still featuring spooky vendors, stage presentations, photo ops, monsters, kids trick-or-treating and more! No running required.
How can I attend a scheduled Stage Presentation if it doesn't align with my ticket entry time?
If you would like to attend one of the scheduled Stage Presentations and it doesn't align with your entry time, arrive in advance of the panel and let the staff member at the door know. We'll do our best to get you in, but we cannot make guarantees due to building code capacity.

Does my child need a ticket?
Children ages four and younger are admitted for free with a paid adult. Children ages five and older require a ticket. All tickets are the same low price.

How does the kids trick-or-treating work?
​If a child attending the event would like to trick-or-treat, simply ask for a treat bag at the front entrance. They will also be given a list of vendors taking part in the trick-or-treat activities. Simply visit the vendor and have your child say "trick-or-treat."

Is this event scary?
This event is in celebration of all things Halloween related. That means there may be some monsters lurking. But the intent is not to jump scare any guests in attendance. Children are welcome to attend, but please know your child's fear threshold. There may be imagery scary for some children.

Is there food available at Wicked New England?
Yes. Several food and drink vendors will be set up in Derby Square just outside of Old Town Hall.

Can I bring my pet to Wicked New England?
Old Town Hall management only allows service animals inside the building.

Is Old Town Hall ADA accessible?
Yes, Old Town Hall has an elevator for guests in need of one.

May I wear a costume to Wicked New England?
Yes! We'd love to see you in your Halloween costumes and wardrobe. But please, no weapons (real or fake) and nothing oversized as space is limited at Old Town Hall.

Am I able to get a refund?
At the time of checkout, you are offered to apply for "purchase protection" on the ticketing site. Opting into this small fee is the only way to ensure getting a full refund.

How can I sign up to be a vendor at Wicked New England?
This year's vendor floor market is currently full. If you're interested in being a vendor at a future event, please sign up for our newsletter and follow us on Instagram to be notified when applications open.
